William D. Jameson letter xerox, 1859 June 8.

The collection consists of one letter written by William Jameson to his father while attending the University of Georgia in 1859. He states that he is not pursuing a closer alliance with a young lady because of her idiot brother, and he does not want to risk connecting with any such strain, as they have thus far had no natural idiots in the family. He also talks of finances and his courses.
